Fay graduated from Central Saint Martins Art School in September 2006 with an MA in Fine Art. She studied History of Art at Sussex University and has a Diploma in Botanical Painting from the Chelsea Physic Garden.

She has exhibited in London, the regions, America and Japan. Her paintings have been published in ‘A New Flowering for Botanical Art' by the Ashmolean Museum, Oxford, and ‘A Passion for Plants’, masterworks from The Shirley Sherwood Collection.

Fay's watercolours have been selected for The Highgrove Florilegium (The Prince of Wales Charitable Foundation) to record flora at Highgrove.

Fay was elected an Associate Member of the Royal Watercolour Society in 2007 and a Full Member in 2010.

Drawing inspiration from plants and working from direct observation, her paintings express human emotion through the beauty of nature.
