White Conduit Projects

30 November 2025 to 18 January 2026

A group show selected and curated by Paul Carey-Kent and Yuki Miyake.

Fay is showing two small preparatory studies for her ‘Another World’ tondi series that was displayed in her recent solo show ‘Where Have They Gone?’ These two studies are experiments using traditional gesso, ink and pigment to convey an idea of other worlds that we may go to after life on this planet. During a residency with the Pier Arts Centre last May, Fay climbed into Neolithic burial chambers and visited standing stones and circles in the landscape. In the autumn, she spent a month in Japan visiting ancient Jomon sites and Buddhist temples. Thoughts turned to the thin boundary between this life and the next and the imagination’s ability to create grieving rituals and afterlives.
