C4RD resident artist, Lyle Perkins has selected four artist sketchbooks, to highlight the working creative process that’s rarely seen by audiences when they visit exhibitions of finished art work. 

Fay will be showing a sketchbook from 2012-14 related to autobiographical drawings made at the time as well as a finished drawing. 

Codex, meaning trunk of a tree, references the ancient format of books that underpins how people record, reflect, and transmit ideas to this day.
